High Monkey is proud to announce the launch of the new web redesign for automationalley.com. Automation Alley is a technology business association and business accelerator located in East Michigan! The new solution was built using the Kentico Content Management System, through cooperation from both the High Monkey and Automation Alley web teams!

This project began with High Monkey conducting discovery workshops to help determine what Automation Alley was looking for in a new site. During these workshops High Monkey took a look at the old Automation Alley site and determined what content, documents and processes that would be considered when building the new site. As the discovery workshops came to a close we were able to come up with an Information Architecture from which the new site would be built! A large aspect to this project was the need for responsive design. With the amount of individuals now using smart phones & tablets to view webpages, it was important to Automation Alley that their site would be easily rendered to view pages via the web, phone devices, or one of the various tablets that are available. Built within Kentico are responsive design templates which help to render each page to fit the device you are viewing the site from!

During web redesign projects it is part of our standard process to provide documentation to our clients. During each stage of the build High Monkey’s developers, architects, and designers document their steps and process in order to show the client what was done and how it was accomplished. "When we set out to build a new website, our number one priority was to simplify functionality for our members," said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. "Whether you’re simply looking for information on one of our programs, registering for an event or posting a press release, you’re going to have a more positive user experience. We’re pleased with the results and hope you are, too."
